Alteration in expression level of some growth and stress-related genes after rhizobacteria inoculation to alleviate drought tolerance in sensitive rice genotype

Abstract Background Drought stress is one of the major abiotic stresses that adversely affect rice production. Four genotypes, Giza177, IR64 (as sensitive genotypes) and Vandana, Orabi3 tolerant were used to screen characterize soil microbes associated with each genotype under drought stress. Results The genotypes showed high tolerance levels enzyme activity. most drought-tolerant isolates inoculated Giza177 conditions. Some morphological, biochemical molecular responses plants estimated. Inoculated regulation some growth stress-related genes (COX1, AP2-EREBP, GRAM, NRAMP6, NAM, GST, DHN three expansin (EXP1, EXP2 EXP3) Expression profiling these highly induced in 4E11 correlated improved status Conclusion Based on this, plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPRs) (Orabi 3). They related significant increase enzymes activities (dehydrogenase, nitrogenase, urease alkaline phosphatase) rhizosphere genotype.
